Carrie’s journey with Amber Taverns began in the heart of Dumfries, where she had worked tirelessly in the hospitality industry since the age of 16. Prior to working with Amber Taverns and despite her dedication, she found herself stuck in the same position, always promised more but never given the opportunity to advance.
That all changed when she crossed paths with our Amber Taverns Area Manager, Nikki. Recognising her potential, Carrie was offered the chance to take over as the operator of The Imperial in Dumfries. With just two weeks on our training scheme, Carrie was ready to step into her new role and hasn’t looked back since!
